Enough Already with Google+ Not Appealing to Women

I've seen articles off and on in regards to the fact that more male Google+ than women. Just this morning I read an article on Mashable stating "...It’s true that the early adopters of any new technology are usually male. But Google+ will have to appeal to a mainstream audience if it’s to reach mass adoption anytime soon."[ http://mashable.com/2011/07/14/google-plus-male/ ]

My answer to this is this...so what.

There is a place for Google+ as well as Facebook, Twitter and any new social network site that comes along. Not everything has to appeal to women.

I may not like many of Facebook practices by you have to admit, Facebook is number one in the world of social network, for now. I day that because if someone would have told me 2 years ago that I would be using Google Chrome as my default browser instead of Mozilla Firefox I may have laughed in your face but here we are 2010 and many people in my circle now use Chrome as the default browser.
